“The idea for Traildiva was born here, in my garage, while I was working on my own bike to prepare for one of those trips that, in recent years, have become my way of living the adventure I’ve always been chasing,” says Lorenzo Buratti, describing the spark that ignited the Clorofilla Bike Lab project.
His life has always been about chasing adventure — first around the world during his early career as a BMX freestyler when he was barely more than a kid, then on two wheels again, this time on his motorbike, competing in races that culminated in three legendary editions of the Paris–Dakar Rally. But Lorenzo has a very broad vision of what adventure means.
“Today, for me, adventure can simply mean exploring a new trail in Finale Ligure — which has become like a second home — or setting off on a gravel trip with my wife through unfamiliar territories, without necessarily having to cross the world to do it. Adventure is a concept that can take many forms, depending on your abilities, aspirations, and stage in life. Even a Sunday family ride can be an adventure.”

It was precisely with this segment of people in mind — those the bike industry has largely overlooked — that Traildiva was born.
“When I set off on a bike trip, I know I can count on a decent level of fitness, and every time my challenge is to make my luggage a little lighter. But not everyone can or wants to travel that way.”
Electric bikes have already opened up new possibilities for many people — and that’s a huge step forward. But Traildiva takes it further, offering the ability to tackle technically demanding routes and genuine off-road trails while comfortably carrying a substantial load.
“In this way, Traildiva becomes a bike with many purposes — one that can serve as a practical everyday cargo bike, and then transform into a travel companion when you want to take your kids camping for the weekend or embark on a long bikepacking route.”

The scenarios that a bike like Traildiva opens up are countless, especially when considering the professional fields that could benefit from its features — not just a leisure bike, but a true work companion for trail builders, sports photographers, rescuers, farmers, civil protection corps and more.
In the presentation video below, we’ll let the images speak for themselves — to show you what Traildiva can make possible.
“I imagine Traildiva as a bike made to travel freely toward open horizons — solid, reliable, and with the soul of an adventurer. While designing it, I drew inspiration from the music I love. I even created a playlist to share — I like to think that the people riding their Traildiva will have their own soundtrack to accompany them, one that captures its spirit.”
